Third Coast AI vs iPullRank: which buyer does each fit?

Last updated October 14, 2026. Written by the Third Coast AI team.

iPullRank describes itself on its own site as a pioneering AI search and content marketing agency serving enterprise and mid-market companies, with services in relevance engineering, generative engine optimization, content strategy and technical SEO, while Third Coast AI is a small AEO and GEO consultancy in Holland, Michigan, that does only the work of getting a company named and cited by the AI engines, for owners and marketing directors of $5M to $100M companies and for agencies. Both can be good choices, and the difference is mostly the size of the buyer, the breadth of the engagement and how close you want to be to the people doing the reading.

What follows is drawn from iPullRank's homepage, services page and about page, checked October 2026, and from our own service pages. We have not worked with iPullRank, we make no claims about their results, and if you are choosing between the two we would rather you read both sites and ask each of us the same questions.

Who is iPullRank, as described on its own site?

iPullRank's homepage carries the line "Be recommended by AI and remembered by people" and describes the company as a pioneering AI search and content marketing agency focused on relevance engineering, GEO, audience-focused SEO and content strategy, serving enterprise and mid-market businesses, with a claim of more than $5 billion in organic search results delivered for clients (checked October 2026). The homepage also mentions a newsletter called The Rank Report and an AI search readiness assessment, and no pricing is published.

iPullRank's services page lists these offerings, checked October 2026:

iPullRank's about page says the company was founded by Mike King, names him as a Search Engine Land Marketer of the Year, and lists team members working from home offices in cities including Spokane, Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Tampa and Manhattan without listing a corporate office address, so we would describe them as a distributed US agency rather than assign a city. The page also says the company was designed to be results-driven rather than billed hourly.

Which buyer does each fit?

Third Coast AIiPullRank

Who it fitsOwners, CEOs and marketing directors of $5M to $100M companies; agencies and professional-services firms that want AEO delivered under their name or taught to their team.Enterprise and mid-market businesses, per the homepage, including large consumer and B2B brands shown as clients.
How you buyA three-week fixed-fee audit, quoted after a short scoping call, then optional monthly content and entity programs on a six-month initial term, month to month after that. The audit fee is credited against the first month of a program. No pricing published on the pages we checked; the about page describes a results-driven rather than hourly model.
How results are measuredPrompt-level change across repeated runs on each engine: whether you are named, where, how you are described and which pages are cited, with the misses reported alongside the wins. The pages we checked describe AI search visibility and organic search results as outcomes without publishing a reporting format.

Should the size of your company decide it?

Probably more than anything else. iPullRank's own positioning is enterprise and mid-market, with named clients in national retail, finance and sport, and a service list that assumes a technical SEO program, a content program and digital PR can run together at scale. Our positioning is the owner of a regional or mid-sized company who wants one specialist to tell them which companies the engines name, why, and what to change, and who would rather have the person who read the cited pages in the room for the readout. If you have a search team already and need a partner who can engineer relevance across a large site, iPullRank's scope matches that better than ours does, and we would say so on a call.

How should you measure either of us?

The same way, which is at the prompt level over repeated runs. The research that should shape both engagements is public: Ahrefs' 75,000-brand study found third-party mentions correlate with AI citations at 0.664 against 0.218 for backlinks, so ask either of us how much of the plan is off-site. Pew measured click-through falling from 15% to 8% when an AI summary is present, so ask how the reporting connects being named to the leads you are losing or keeping. Ahrefs measured the overlap between Google's top ten and AI Overview citations at 38% in March 2026, down from 76%, so ask how the vendor separates ranking from being cited. Any vendor, including us, should be able to show you the engine's actual answers, the hidden sub-queries and the sentence on your site that should have answered them.

The honest comparison is not who is better. It is which buyer each of us was built for, and the fastest way to find out is to ask both of us the same ten questions and see which answers you understand.

When would we send you to iPullRank instead?

When you are an enterprise with a large site, an existing SEO team and a need for relevance engineering, content engineering and generative AI services under one roof, because those are things iPullRank lists and we do not offer. We would keep you when you are a $5M to $100M company or an agency serving them, you want the engagement to start with a three-week audit rather than a program, and you want the method itself (prompt bank, hidden sub-queries, decision factors, proof audit, citation reads, gate, re-run) handed over so you can keep running it. The guide to choosing an AEO agency gives the fuller checklist, and the about page states plainly what we do and do not do.

Frequently asked questions

Is iPullRank an AEO agency?

Its site uses the terms GEO, AI search and relevance engineering rather than AEO, and describes services for improving visibility in AI search platforms alongside content marketing and technical SEO, checked October 2026.

Where is iPullRank located?

Its about page lists team members working from home offices in several US cities and does not publish a corporate office address on the pages we checked, so we describe it as a distributed US agency.

Does iPullRank publish prices?

Not on the homepage, services page or about page we checked in October 2026. Its about page describes a results-driven rather than hourly billing philosophy.

Which is better, Third Coast AI or iPullRank?

We cannot say and would not try. iPullRank positions itself for enterprise and mid-market companies with a broad AI search and content service list; we are a narrow AEO and GEO consultancy for $5M to $100M companies and agencies. Ask both the same questions and pick the one whose answers you understand.
